A different kind of place to park your RV or throw up a tent
"Close to everything but away from it all." Buck Acres is out of city limits, yet still close to city amenities and Lake Conroe. Less than one mile to April Sound and the largest marina on Lake Conroe, eight minutes to Wal-Mart or Kroger, yet peaceful and quiet on our forested property.
As full-time RV nomads ourselves we know RV park rates are getting crazy, this is our way of trying to help the community. We've done everything we can to keep rates down. The only amenities we offer are shade, electricity, water, and an ADA porta john that is cleaned twice every week.
We're fulltime nomads ourselves and we get it, RV park prices are getting crazy and the affordable RV parks are sweltering parking lots where you're packed in like sardines! At Buck Acres we have 100' tall hardwoods and pines that provide shade at all hours of the day and they have all been professionally trimmed up 60' for the safety, but branches falling is still possible at any well shaded rv campground .
Buck Acres is still under construction and it is a labor of love.

We do all of our bookings through HipCamp and The Dyrt.
If you use rv campgrounds or use affordable rv parks regularly and don't use either of these services/apps, you can thank us later.

Rates
We have a wide variety of sites and rates to provide the best value to travelers, why pay extra for amenities you won't use?
Affordable rv parks rate:
$35-42 for an electric site
Affordable RV campground
$22-40 for non-electric
$5 for a bundle of genuine Buck Acres firewood
$5 per night for an extra vehicle or 4 extra guests in a site
Weekdays are 10% less.
